“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 NIV
“Winepress International exists to fulfil Matthew 28:19-20 by partnering with others in acts of compassion, education and spiritual development”
This includes creating opportunities through providing education and training to the poor and those in need in Myanmar, Vietnam, and Thailand. We do this through skilled indigenous and western workers on the ground. We come alongside others with acts of compassion and care in a way that allows those in need to help themselves.
Areas of need that we support internationally:
We partner with a team that supports the destitute in the slums of Mandalay, by providing basic literacy and life skill classes. Most of the small children are used for slave labour and know no other way to live. The ability to read, write and speak English, gives hope and a chance of a better future.
We are seeking particularly to impact the children through education, which includes, bringing in local doctors to do health checks and teach basic hygiene.
The work is also supported by providing English classes to University students in our Language Centre. CLICK HERE
In Vietnam, we partner with local teams that provide faith-based English education to children, ESL (English as Second Language), music classes and life skills to all ages. We’re starting small and believing for BIG things. They’re equipping the next generation who will continue to influence the generations that follow. CLICK HERE
